RHOA: Recap

So last night on RHOA, Cynthia and Kim sat down for what was hopefully, the last discussion of the whole “black baby” thing. *Yawn* Additionally, they discussed their awkward relationship and how they have really never had the opportunity to get to know each other.

Meanwhile, Phaedra wallowed in her excitement to make money off of the deceased. While visiting Willie Watkins Mortuary, Phaedra’s funeral directing skills were put to the test. You know our girl Phaedra was ALL the way over the top during the interview with a deceased father’s children.

Everybody knows you should take a person’s grieving children in a room full of caskets and ask which one they think is “jumping” out a them…*crickets* And don’t dare forget to make sure to announce to the grieving family to “spare no expense” since this is the last thing you’ll ever get to do for your loved one:/

The whole time Phaedra was talking to the family, she was making all those mmmmm and ohhhh noises that she does so perfectly. The problem this time is that we couldn’t tell if she was being melodramatic (as usual) are having a damn orgasm! Good news is that the whole thing was a hoax and Phaedra really got punk’d.

The “family” were just employees of Willie Watkins and Phaedra was later informed that the whole process had been a mock run through in which she was being rated.

Elsewhere, Kroy discussed his plans to propose to Kim with her dad and with pop’s blessings, he made his move with a huge rock in a intimate setting at home with just the two of them.

Awww…gotta love Kroy:-)

But we don’t have to love Kim:/ Talk about attitude. Phaedra invited all of the girl’s out to an event that honored Willie Watkins for his amazing accomplishments in services provided for the dead, and also to watch she and Watkins announce their new partnership. Of course these miserable old hags complained the entire time and Kim and Sheree even excused themselves so that Kim could announce her engagement to Sheree and ask her to be a bridesmaid…*more crickets*

The program definitely seemed quite lengthy but these simple women are just a disgrace. If it ain’t about them, there’s always a problem. And while we can excuse the “Talls” for their behavior since they aren’t really supposed to be good friends of Phaedra’s, the “Smalls” are faker than these chicks rockin knock-offs and claiming their authentic honey. I can’t.

NeNe also took a visit out to LA on business to build her budding acting career. While there, she also began contemplating making the Hollywood state home.

All in all, the show was ultimately a bore. In fact, this entire season has been a bore. This show, or at least this cast, has run its course. These ladies are no longer friends, nor enemies, nor frenemies; their lives have all seemed to move in different directions and pulling them into other avenues that don’t really include this particular show anymore…

Except Sheree who is obviously broke and desperately attempting to stretch out her 25 minutes of fame.

In spite her efforts though, this may be a rap for the original cast.

RHOA: Cynthia sides with hubby, sends “hating” sister packing

On last night’s episode of RHOA, Cynthia Bailey sided with hubby Peter and sent big sis Mal back to France with a good tongue thrashing and a tip to mind her own damn business.

After sister Mallory’s outburst at their anniversary party, shown on last week’s episode, our girl Cynthia can no longer deal with the drama. Adopting hubby Peter’s attitude that her very protective sister Mal is just being a “hater,” she let her sister know just how much she opposed Mallory’s disapproval of her husband and that she had been extremely embarrassed with Mal’s behavior at the party. Cynthia told her sister that she just really didn’t like her right now. Mmmmm…

Personally, I’m divided on the issue with Peter and Mallory. On one hand, I agree that Peter is an f-ing jerk!! He does seem very controlling and not like an ideal pick a sister might choose for her sister. But then that is the point, Mallory has her man whom she chose and Cynthia has chosen hers.

While I can see and sympathize with Mallory’s concerns, it is not her place to impose and interfere. I think she needs to back off and let Cynthia go through this experience whether it will have a bad outcome or a (surprisingly) good one. I agree with Cynthia that it’s time for Mal to back the hell off.

Mallory doesn’t realize that Peter is demonizing her and getting exactly what he wants every time she has an outburst about his trifling a**. He wants Cynthia and Mallory to fall out as a way of isolating Cynthia…mallory is playing right into his desires.

He knew that that little f**ked up comment he made publicly at the party would throw Mallory all off her rocker which is why he did it. Perhaps, if Mal hadn’t stole the show and made a “spectacle” of herself, Cynthia might not have completely ignored how Peter really started all that s**t by making the comment in the first place.

Did anybody catch that but me??????

Why didn’t Cynthia chastise Peter about disrespecting and dismissing her sister as family in front of a party full of people. After all, it was his initial comments that started the whispers and stares. He too made a spectacle of the whole thing…making it all about HIM and MALLORY. Mallory simply reacted.

Like I said, Mal needs to back off, but Peter needs to back off too. It’s time they both start playing their position and respecting the other’s IF they really do care about Cynthia.

RHOA Recap: Cynthia’s family feud

Last night on the “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Cynthia and Peter celebrated their first anniversary with another big bang that they really couldn’t afford:-/ Much like their wedding, the planning of the big party was pressed with financial pressures and family tensions between Peter and Cynthia’s sister Mallory.

Initially, Peter came up with the idea of breaking bank for just one year in, while Cynthia opted for a simple and intimate celebration. However, Peter being Peter, he made convinced Cynthia that going through with the posh party was what the “people” they hang with expected from them.

Interesting, that his idea of a romantic first anniversary included more debt and the desire to keep up with the Jones’ for “appearances.” Mmm.

Anyway, Cynthia’s sister Mallory was less than impressed with the whole thing and seemed to know that it probably wasn’t her sister’s idea nor in her sister’s budget. When Cynthia and Mal sat down for a discussion about the upcoming party, Mal made a point to get all up in the newlyweds business about whose idea the party was, the budget and whether her sister would be footing the bill.

Cynthia, being the good wife, held her man down to her prying sister by letting her know that they both came up with the party idea (that was a lie though) and that they both would be paying for it (probably a lie too). Either way, good sis Mal was overstepping her boundaries here and it’s definitely time for her to stand down and out of his sister’s marriage.

Meanwhile, Kim continued to whine about Sweetie’s lack of work ethic as she continued to battle with the decision to fire the assistant. She calls Sweetie a friend but yet she seems to be badmouthing Sweetie to anyone who will listen. I still have yet to see her actually sit down with the girl and have a heart to heart. Maybe yelling at her all the damn time and calling her a b**ch isn’t really helping the situation. Besides, what is Sweetie’s job title anyway???? Nanny, maid, chauffeur, assistant… she make that chick do everything. Wonder what she pays her 0_O

NeNe and Greg decided to conduct a parental intervention with Bryson who was arrested for stealing some razors out of  Walmart or something. His mama is a self-proclaimed RICH B**CH, what the hell is he doing stealing out of Walmart??? This kid just doesn’t want to get it together. NeNe seems like she’s at the end of her rope with Bryson f-ing up and pretty much just let Gregg deal with their son this time. Our girl was sipping on a little something and letting her titties hang free while they did the father-son talk. LOL!! Love her.

The show finished up at Cynthia and Peter’s anniversary party with her family drama as usual, but not before guest She by Sheree struted in to start-up some mess…we are so sick of this broad. First, she and Lawrence talk about why Cynthia and Peter even thought throwing such a big party for a one year anniversary was necessary in the first place (which I agree), but they don’t stop there. When they arrive, they don’t even greet Cynthia or Peter as Sheree claimed that she had knee problems and couldn’t walk up to where Cynthia was. Isn’t Sheree like the workout queen though?? Hmm. Then Sheree continued to complain about how boring the party was.

On the way to the party, Sheree, with her diarrhea mouth, thought it would be a good idea to tell Lawrence that while in conflict with Marlo in Africa, Marlo made a derogatory comment about gay men when she used the f-word…you know…the one that rhymes with maggots. Feeling some kindaway about his friend Marlo’s comment, Ms. Lawrence decide to chat up what was said with Marlo in private when he saw her at the party…of course Sheree tagged along behind to beef up her relevance.

During the conversation with Lawrence, Marlo denied using the f-word during the elementary exchange  with Sheree in Africa but actually she really did. We like Marlo, and personally I don’t feel like she intended to insult Lawrence or anyone but Sheree then. She was heated and got caught up. To me, I see no difference with that and gay men calling women b**tches and fishes and all that other mess.

The biggest spectacle came when Peter decided to conduct a toast in front of the entire party making a public note to exclude Mallory as family or friend when he thanked the supporters for coming out. He also called her a hater in front of everyone which raised some eyebrows and prompted the whispers. Mallory felt very insulted and began to cry during a heated exchange between her and Cynthia as spectators looked on. Hot mess.

For the record, Mal has to learn to stay in her lane when it comes to Cynthia and her husband. I know she feels like her sister’s marriage to Peter is a huge mistake but if that is the case, Cynthia will have to learn that on her own…all she needs now is her sister’s support. However, Peter is an A**HOLE!!! Just a flat-out jerk and needs to focus more on what’s in the best interest of his wife and less on disrespecting her family and putting on with money he ain’t got.

Poor Cynthia…that is a disaster.

Twitter Beef: NeNe Leakes v.s. Sheree Whitfield

 

So after tonight’s episode of RHOA and the internal beef with the “Smalls,” our girl NeNe took to her Twitter to taunt about the whole hot ass mess of drama that happened with the return home from Africa. Before the show actually began, NeNe tweeted:

RHOA: Africa, orphanages, black babies, and bulls**t

Episode 15 of the “Real Houswives of Atlanta,” opens with the ladies departing from South Africa pretty much just as they arrived…divided. Only this time, it was the “Smalls” v.s. the “Smalls.”

On last week’s episode messy ass “loyal friend” Sheree decided to throw Kandi under the bus by calling Kim and (incorrectly) reporting that she had made a racial comment about Kim holding a “black baby.” Oh gosh:/ Kim is constantly defending herself against being a racist since last season when she was hammered by NeNe and some angry tweeters about alledgedly treating her African-American assistant, Sweetie, like a slave. Therefore, it rubbed Kim the wrong way when she was told that Kandi had said she couldn’t see Kim holding a black baby or going to South Africa at all.

In actuality, it was Cynthia who made the statement that she couldn’t see Kim in an orphanage in South Africa holding any little black babies. Kandi only chimmed in agreeing that she couldn’t picture Kim in an orphanage or in South Africa period with all of them there. BTW, Kandi didn’t mention anything about Kim holding black babies and Sheree co-signed with Kandi that Kim would have likely skipped the vacay because of tensions with NeNe.

Anyways, when the ladies returned home, Kim invited Kandi, Sheree, and Phaedra over to chat up what was said and get to the bottom of it. Kandi and Sheree of course got into an elementary school exchange over what was said while Phaedra opted to mind her business. However, Phaedra was asked to express her interpretation at which time she acknowledge that Kandi was more so expressing a thought that she might couldn’t envision Kim doing any “humanitarian” work, more so than the racial connotation that Sheree was insisting.

We’re inclined to agree with our girl Phaedra on this one.

What was even more interesting is that on the way to Kim’s house, Phaedra decided to stop by and fulfill her curiosity about the progress of “Chateau Sheree.” Suprisingly  the lot was as empty as ever:/ Maybe this is why Sheree is so disgruntled and trying to boost drama for ratings.

Personally, I took what Kandi said to mean that she couldn’t see Kim in ANY orphanage! Black, white, pink or purple. I honestly don’t think she was implying that Kim is a racist. I also think that her comment about not seeing Kim in Africa at all, had more to do with NeNe’s being there than anything. Furthermore, since Sheree’s fake ass was so adamant that a “true” friend would have had Kim’s back and defended her, why didn’t she???? Sheree did not defend Kim against Cynthia or Kandi!!! She laughed with the rest of them.

Sheree please go away. We don’t believe you.

Big bank takes little bank: Sheree Whitfield broke???

Who can forget the epic moment when Ms. NeNe Leakes deemed herself a VERY RICH B**CH. Well, Sheree Whitfield just wasn’t buying it but reports of her own networth indicate that she may not be “buying” much at all. According to celebritynetworth.com, Sheree is pulling in a depressing 250 thousand. Damn.

The site claims that Sheree’s only sources of income as a “working mom” are accomplished through her role on Housewives of Atlanta and that blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo she made on BET sitcom The Game.

While she is the former wife of struggling retired NFL player Bob Whitfield, she’ll have to keep dreaming about those six-figures she was chasing during their divorce—-she was awarded nothing by the courts but child support that she continues to fight for.

And though Sheree was quick to bring up the fact that she lacks a formal education, skilled trade or profession, her appeal that she can’t do nothing else did not gain her enough sympathy with the judge to pacify her deep desire to live lavishly. Ooops:/

Perhaps that little green-eyeed monster was seeping out of Sheree during her conflict with Ms. Leakes who by the same source, is reportedly a millionaire. #POW Sheree you’re gonna have to get your weight up boo before you can throw shade;-)

BTW, in light of this information, we wonder how in the hell she plans to pull off Chateau Sheree??? Did this chick say she wanted a ballroom in her house??? Girl bye.
